Cisco Certified Design Associate Certification

Cisco Certified Design Associate Certification

CCDA

The CCDA certification is the entry-level certification in the field of Cisco network design.

Prerequisites: A valid CCENT certification. A CCNA Routing & Switching certification or equivalent knowledge is strongly recommended.

Cisco recommends the following courses to prepare for the required exams:

ICND1 – Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1
Exam 100-101

ICND2 – Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 2
Exam 200-101

DESGN – Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions
Exam 200-310

The CCDA certification is valid for three years. A CCDA may contact the CCDA exam or any exam of the Associate, Professional or Specialist level (exam number starts with 642) to recertify. Even the existence of any CCIE Theory exam leads to the automatic re-certification.
