CCNA Wireless

The CCNA Wireless is to Support capable wireless LANs. He is responsible for configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting basic functions of a Cisco WLAN in small and medium enterprises.

To prepare for the exams Cisco recommends visiting the following courses:

ICND1 – Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1
Exam 100-101

WIFUND – Implementing Cisco Wireless Network Fundamentals
Exam 200-355

The certification is valid for three years. A CCNA Wireless may contact the Service Wireless exam or any exam of the Associate, Professional or Specialist level (exam number starts with 642) to recertify. Even the existence of any CCIE Theory exam leads to the automatic re-certification.


Implementing Cisco Wireless Network Fundamentals

This course provides students with the necessary knowledge that is necessary for positioning, planning, implementation and operation of wireless LANs. In a combination of theory and practice the topics design, installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting a wireless network in small business and enterprise environments are treated. The course prepares participants for the exam 200-355 WIFUND, which is part of the certification to CCNA Wireless.

• Small and Remote Access WLAN with Flex Connect, Autonomous- and cloud architectures
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting Wi-Fi
• Requirements for the WLAN Design
